A successful high-technology entrepreneur, angel investor and venture capitalist and has co-founded more than 30 Silicon Valley start-ups, after successful key management positions at Digital Equipment Corp. (DEC) and
C-Cube Microsystems.
Marc Yi, Managing Director, Intel Capital.
Marc is a Managing Director of Intel Capital responsible for its Digital Home and Digital Media sector. He is also a member of Intel Capital’s investment committee. He joined Intel Capital’s M&A team in 2000 and later joined the Digital Home sector in 2005. Marc has made investments in more than 30 companies with several successful exits. He currently serves as board observer for Caring, Inc, Openpeak, Skyrockit, Transgaming, UIEvolution, Verismo Networks, and YuMe. And his team has invested in companies such as Digital Chocolate, Kabam, and iControl. Prior to joining Intel Capital, Marc was an associate at IFC (World Bank) where he made private equity investments in Emerging Markets. In addition, Marc worked at AT&T’s global strategy and alliance team and Deutsche Bank. Marc attended ICADE in Spain and holds a BS in Economics from the Wharton School, the University of Pennsylvania. And he is fluent in Korean and is proficient in Spanish.
Duncan Davidson,
Duncan has more than 20 years of experience with new ventures and alliances across a wide range of broadband technologies: networks (DSL, satellite); services (VOD, music, mobile connectivity); and enabling technologies (DRM, WiFi). He is currently engaged with portfolio companies in the digital media sector. Prior to VantagePoint, he was a founder and senior executive at several prominent start-ups including SkyPilot Networks, Covad Networks and InterTrust. Before joining InterTrust, Duncan was Managing Partner of Gemini McKenna. He is a graduate of Brown University in Physics-Mathematics (BS) and the University of Michigan Law School (JD).
Tushar Dave, New Path Ventures Tushar Dave is a Co-Founder and Managing Director of NewPath Ventures LLC, a Cross Border Indo-US venture fund. Prior to this he was a Vice President of Business Development at Broadcom Corporation. He has founded and held key management roles in Arcus Technology (acquired by Cypress Semiconductors), Inc., Armedia, Inc. (acquired by Broadcom), Vengines, Inc. He has also held key marketing and engineering roles in VLSI Technology and Intel, respectively.
